What is the simplest way to let customers know your menu items are prepared with fresh ingredients, from local vendors?
Simple. Fresh. Local.
Our menu consists of simple, homemade recipes that are time-tested favorites. From the green chile chicken stew to the spinach quiche and breakfast burritos, we prepare everything with the freshest ingredients, from local New Mexico vendors whenever possible. Homemade tamales and lasagna round out our eclectic menu. Our “Slice of Heaven” cheesecakes, pecan rolls and fresh baked cookies make the perfect dessert or indulgent snack, especially when paired with our Chocolate Pinon drip coffee or with a hot cup of espresso.
Please contact us if you are in interested in any catering, or if you're looking for somewhere to host a private event (availability based on a case by case basis).
For as long as he can remember, owner and operator Scott York wanted to own his own restaurant. Trained through the Albuquerque TV-I as a pastry chef, Scott has refined his skillset by working in many kitchens throughout the country. He has prepared a wide variety of recipes and created meals for a wide range of establishments, from simple comfort-food style diners, to fine dining steak houses and high-end hotels. In October of 2019, Scott and his wife Rickii became the owners of the Limonata Café, giving Scott the opportunity to live his dream.
During his journey, Scott has met many people who share his vision of serving fresh, awesome food in a fun, welcoming setting by customer service driven employees. Two of these people are Operations Manager Karen Crawford, and PR Manager Phil Sandoval. Karen and Phil both excel in customer service, and in making every guest feel welcome as soon as they come in the door. Karen is also an excellent crepe maker, and Phil is learning all the recipes in the kitchen.
